Ripper Roo and Tiny Too is the fifth episode of the first season of Crash Bandicoot: N-Ventures!, but was the sixth episode produced. In this episode, Dr. Neo Cortex fired Ripper Roo and Tiny Tiger, forcing them into depressions until they became friends.

Plot Summary[]

Dr. Neo Cortex is angry at his failures! He officially dismissed many of his minions for their incompetence. Pinstripe: gone! Koala Kong: gone! N. Gin: gone! N. Brio: gone! Papu Papu: gone! The Komodo Brothers: gone! Ripper Roo: gone! Tiny Tiger: gone! The only assistants worthy of Cortex's time was Labby Larry and Beaker Bill. Most of the minions didn't mind. Pinstripe went off to his night job of being an important businessman. The Komodo Brothers started performing in circuses. N. Gin and N. Brio joined together to produce machines for the army. Koala Kong became a dancer. Papu Papu returned to his tribe. Tiny Tiger had nowhere to go, though. Either did Ripper Roo. Back on Wumpa Island, Crash and Coco found themselves watching Wumpavision. There was a news report (voiced by Jeff Bennett) announcing Cortex's evil deed of firing his minions. Coco was concerned, but Crash fell asleep. Eventually, Tiny reached his breaking point. He was alone and miserable. He needed a companion. He eventually met up with a bored Ripper Roo. Tiny agreed to take Roo in as his pet. This brought them happiness (in a montage of short scenes), until Roo realized that they could easily have their revenge on their creator. Roo, a renowned explosives expert, created a device so powerful that only a tiger could use it. This spawned another news report, seen by Coco. Coco couldn't wake Crash up, but she felt it was her duty to save Cortex. So, she called him up and told him of the plan, since Cortex apparently doesn't have basic cable. Cortex was too late, though. As he stepped outside, his entire castle crumbled, causing him to lecture Tiny about the responsibilities of owning a pet.
